About the designer
Hey yall! My name is Kelly Amerson and I am your 'Texas Trouvaille' or your lucky find from small town Texas. Although I was born and raised Texas, I have lived in Chicago & Memphis before settling in Houston. I studied design and photography at Lone Star College in Houston and went on to design/manage a print shop there for several years. In the last few years I made my way back to the Dallas area and purchased a big ol historic home for my growing family. We are fixing it up piece by piece and making it our own. I am a mom to two beautiful daughters, a bonus son-in-law and already have two amazing grandsons.
I have always had a flair for the artistic aspect of life and always think of things 'differently' in another light. I have a hearty love for life and all the beautiful things it holds. I'm naturally curios and amazed by things, big and small, even when someone else can't see the beauty in it. I have a wicked sense of humor and am notorious for having a light hearted and empathetic spirit.
I want to help you bring your vision to life...whatever that may be. I will always find a way.
My experience
From hand drawings to computer graphics, I have learned from many mentors along my life path. I entered art fairs from an early age and eventually attended a college that supplied the modern tools to move my career forward. I still take classes to keep up with the changing times and learning new skills to add to my set. From designing billboards to simple business cards, I strive to make you stand out.
My vision
I always try to look at things from a different perspective. Constantly learning and changing as I grow. You should never stop learning! I believe I posses the 'muchness' that people crave. I love speaking to people to understand the who, what, when, where and whys. Sparks of imagination come from EVERYTHING!
